Today we will be working on creating base plans by hand. This is something you will need to get good at. We are going to start today with a simple site.
Your job will be to redraw the base plan to an accurate scale. Download the document for your use. This will be due at the end of the period. Note, there are two 3' windows on the front of the house and one 4' window on the garage at the right side of the drawing. Be sure to make all house walls solid color and leave the windows unfilled.
Wear old clothes Wednesday, we will take a break from the bookwork and work outside on the garden by the 600 Building.
Thursday: Ribesspeciosum and Berberis thunbergii
Rain today, that equals mud. So we will be doing more Site Mapping, but today we will be using SketchUp to make our base plans. I will teach you how to use triangulation to find random points. Below is the measurements you will transfer to your base plan.
